Bardstown High School students Ellie Finn, Sara Luckett, and Brooke Hardin have been chosen to participate in the prestigious 2017 Governor’s Scholar Program (GSP). They will be seniors in the 2017-2018 school year.

GSP is a five-week residential summer program for outstanding Kentucky students completing their junior year in high school. Established in 1983, the program provides academic and personal growth through the balance of a strong liberal arts program with a full co-curricular and residential life experience.

GSP seeks to help students achieve their academic and personal potential, cultivate their leadership abilities, and enhance their creativity and critical thinking skills. Accepted students will learn their host school and their area of concentration later this month. Host colleges for the 2017 GSP program are Northern Kentucky University, Murray State University, and Morehead State University.

Finn is the daughter of Dr. Dan and Ellen Baker Finn; Luckett is the daughter of Terry and Rosemary Luckett; and Hardin is the daughter of Tammy Hardin and Aaron Hardin.
