About our Program
The Bardstown Child Care Program (BCCP) is a wrap-around child-care program operated by Bardstown City Schools. We offer child-care for school-aged children Kindergarten up to age 13 after school and on all non-school days (including most snow days) in a safe, educational environment at a convenient, on-campus site. In addition to providing adult supervision for your children, our trained staff will also provide a variety of age-appropriate activities and free choice of play, homework help and relaxation opportunities. Some of our activities include arts and crafts, music, cooking, group games, computer time, gym/playground/track, reading, dramatic play, etc. Our intersession and summer break schedules include many fun and interesting field trips such as swimming, roller and ice skating, movies, bowling, horseback riding, the zoo, and many more fun places.
Our program is a state-licensed center operated by the Bardstown City School System and located next to the Athletic Facility. We offer child care to “wrap-around” your child’s schedule at either the morning or afternoon Early Childhood Center sessions. We have a large classroom for each preschool age, and are licensed for 40 children. Our program is a safe, fun and educational environment with trained staff who love working with children. We provide a child care program you can rely on year-round. We offer a variety of gently structured, age-appropriate activities, free choice of play, and relaxation opportunities, so your child continues to learn through group and individual play. Some of our activities include art, music, cooking, group games, computer time, gym/playground/track, reading, dramatic play, etc. You are welcome to stop in or call to check on your child anytime.
