Mrs. Stone

I started life off in the great state of New York near West Point.  I graduated from SUNY Oswego in 1998 and moved to Bardstown in 1999.  I completed my graduate work in Visual Impairment Education at the University of Louisville, although my family bleeds BLUE!! I started teaching at Bardstown Elementary in 1999 and have been with Bardstown City Schools ever since.  This is my 18th year teaching 5th grade and I never want to change.  I love the age and abilities of kids in this grade and enjoy seeing them grow throughout the year.
My family has grown quite a bit over the years to include my husband Israel, son Cooper (11), and daughters Finley (10), Tatum (7), and Britton (3).  As they grow, I learn more about the stages all kids go through an it helps me to better understand the kids I work with each day.
