Mrs. Mudd

Welcome to Mrs. Mudd's Classroom!!

My name is Rebecca Mudd. I have been blessed to teach here at BES since 2001 (all of which have been in the 4th grade classroom). My husband and I have been married since 2006 and have two children, both are in the Bardstown school system. Although fourth grade can be a tough transition year, it truly is my passion. Please feel free to contact me any time you have questions or concerns. I am here to help!

The best way to communicate with me is by either writing a note in your child's agenda (which I will check daily) or by email (also checked daily). You may also call before school 7:30-7:40, after school 2:45-3:15, or during my planning.

AR Requirements

Remember that your child has an AR goal they are expected to achieve every quarter.  You can find an AR reading log stapled in the back of his/her their agenda with their individualized goal.  Each student is required to record the title of the book, the points, and score from each AR test.  Please make sure that your child is reading 15-20 minutes each night.  The best way to foster reading is by making it a family affair!  When you child sees you reading or when you take an interest in what they are reading, they realize the value reading has in their education.  Kids are never too old to have a bedtime story!  :-)
