Important Information for Students Returning for In-Person Learning Tuesday, Sept. 8
Bardstown Middle School will open our doors to in-person learning on Tuesday, September 8th.  The staff at BMS is very excited about this opportunity and eager to meet our students in-person.  As we continue to navigate through an unprecedented global event your patience and support is greatly appreciated.  The information below may help as you make decisions regarding our In-Person and Online Learning options.  
Meal Service Will Be Offered For Virtual Learners
Beginning September 8th, 2020 our Food Service Department will offer lunch service for virtual learners.
A Message from Dr. Clark About Returning to School
We know our parents, students, and staff all want to know details about the expected return to school in August. In this video Dr. Clark explains how the district is working to create a plan for the Reopening of Bardstown City Schools. 
School Closed Until April 20 BCS will remain closed until April 20 to slow spread of COVID-19
To slow the spread of COVID-19 Governor Beshear has asked all Kentucky schools to remain closed until April 20, 2020. We support the Governor’s decision to prioritize the health and wellbeing of everyone in our state. Spring break will be observed as scheduled March 30 - April 10th. 
BCS will implement Non-Traditional Instruction (NTI) from March 16 through March 27 closely monitoring developments related to COVID-19, Governor Beshear has requested schools close to help prevent the spread of this illness. Bardstown City Schools will implement Non-Traditional Instruction (NTI) from March 16 through March 27 (which are the two weeks before Spring Break).

Kennedy Faulconer, Amy Roblero and Kaden Stone representing Bardstown Middle School in Lexington, Kentucky at the KHSSL Junior Speech Competition, bringing home several awards.
